A Decade of Measurable Care
Since 2016, the GC Rivera Foundation's volunteer surgeons, physicians, dentists and integrative-medicine specialists have treated more than 1,700 patients across annual missions in the Philippines - at no cost to a single patient. Every mission is documented: patients seen, procedures performed, outcomes recorded.
2026 - MINDORO ORIENTAL: Over 450 special-needs children and teenagers - with autism, Down syndrome, cerebral palsy and deafness - received integrative, nutritional, dental and supportive care. Research paper in preparation.
2020: Over four days, the integrative team of holistic, dental, nutrition and supportive-medicine practitioners treated 340+ children and teenagers with special needs.
2019 - GUIMARAS ISLAND, 17-22 FEBRUARY: The integrated medicine and medical team assessed and treated 426 patients in four days, alongside the annual fundraiser and the Blue Ribbon Ceremony honoring our founder, Dr. Rebecca C. Rivera, M.D.
2018 - CITY OF CANDON, ILOCOS SUR, 11-15 FEBRUARY: In partnership with FCTI and Original Quinton, the mission served 50+ special-needs cases, from autism spectrum disorder to children who are deaf or blind.
2017 - 5-12 FEBRUARY: Medical and surgical procedures, joined by the Gerald Anderson Foundation's autism dog-therapy program and holistic nutrition training for local physicians.
2016 - MATI, DAVAO ORIENTAL: The founding mission, carried out with Friends in Deed. Surgical and medical care for underprivileged families - and the beginning of a decade-long commitment to the Philippines.
