The GC Rivera Foundation carries the name and values of Genoveva Castro Rivera (1898-1970), matriarch of the Castro Rivera family of Baguio City, Philippines. Genoveva (pronounced "hen-o-vev-a") lived a life defined by one simple, powerful value: selfless service to others - feeding the hungry, educating the poor and offering shelter to the homeless.
​Nearly half a century after her passing, her daughter, Dr. Rebecca C. Rivera, M.D. - a physician with 45 years in OB-GYN private practice, co-founder of Bridgeway, Inc. and past president of the Medical Dental Staff at JFK Medical Center - founded this 501(c)(3) organization in her mother's name, so that Genoveva's example would live on as an institution: selfless service to humanity.

Jere Rivera-Dugenio, Ph.D.

President, Head of Integrative Medicine Team

Dr. Rebecca's son, Dr. Jere Rivera-Dugenio, Ph.D., leads the foundation today - directing its annual missions and its integrative-medicine program. An inventor and researcher with a Ph.D. in Natural Medicine, he specializes in advanced scalar-plasma energy technologies and quantum morphogenetic field physics, with peer-reviewed papers published in the International Journal of Scientific and Engineering Research (IJSER).
​Under his leadership, the foundation's missions pair western surgical, medical and dental care with advanced integrative medicine - with dedicated focus on children with autism spectrum disorder. Three generations, one value: selfless service to humanity.
